Behind the Lens

When I first bought my camera, I was just looking for a hobby. I spent time fumbling through settings and snapping casual photos of trips and friends. But everything changed when I photographed my sister’s intimate wedding. I didn’t know many of the guests, yet after three days of celebrating two people I love, connection came easily. I went into that weekend shooting with intention — wanting to create something that made people feel seen.

That experience showed me the beauty of photography beyond the image itself. Getting to know people deeply while capturing them through my lens filled me with so much joy. Sharing those moments afterward only strengthened those connections — it felt like we were creating art together. When authentic self-expression meets genuine connection, that’s where the magic happens.
